Case Study

Palabra

Overview

In early 2020, Palabra was just launching as a brand. The idea was to create deep human connection through facilitated dinners. The purpose was to create a new kind of business development event– rather than take a potential client to a Yankees game or whatever, they could invite them to a fancy dinner and build trust faster.

Working directly with the founder and his team, I helped translate their vision and mission into a digital experience that told the story of how their brand was to operate.

After initial stakeholder interviews, and current site audit, I started by with a new information architecture.

I mapped out wireframes of each of the pages.

I integrated the existing brand assets.

And did the visual design for each responsive page.

As a final step, I did some video editing and cut together a looping background for the homepage.

Once we finished, COVID-19 was just picking up.
So the idea of in-person dinners wasn’t going to work.

I helped Palabra rethink their business and approach.
I rewrote and redesigned the site completely to mirror this new approach.

I continue to work with their team on design, marketing, and thought leadership.
